Stake Presidency Message
Aloha Brothers and Sisters of the Makakilo Hawaii Stake,
As we move into the month of May, we’re excited to introduce the Makakilo Stake Vision “That we may be one” (D&C 35:2).
Vision: “Individuals and families of the Makakilo Stake to be united as one in faith, one in purpose, one in heart, and ultimately, one in Jesus Christ to invite all of God’s children, on both sides of the veil, to come unto the Savior, make and keep sacred covenants, have enduring joy, and qualify for eternal life.”
This vision reminds us that unity is not just a noble goal, it is a divine expectation. As we strive to become one with Christ and one with each other, we invite The Spirit more fully into our lives and homes. We pray this vision will inspire every individual and family in our stake to act in faith and love.
Stake Conference: May 16–18, 2025
We warmly invite you and your loved ones to participate in this month’s Stake Conference weekend, a time to be spiritually nourished, encouraged, and united.
Friday, May 16 - Stake Temple Day
- Come worship in the house of the Lord. Please reserve a time through Eventbrite.
Saturday, May 17, 4:00 PM - Stake Priesthood Leadership Session
- For all ward and stake priesthood leaders.
Saturday, May 17, 6:30 PM - Adult Evening Session
- All adults (18+) are invited to attend.
Sunday, May 18, 10:00 AM - General Session
- All members and friends are welcome.
How to Prepare
How to Prepare
We invite you to begin preparing now, both spiritually and physically, to receive the blessings of Stake Conference. Take time in the coming days to pray personally and with your families. Ask the Lord what He would have you learn or how He would have you serve. Consider fasting for increased unity in your family, ward, and stake. As you prepare with intention, the Lord will magnify your efforts and help you hear what He wants you to know.

The Stake Presidency will be doing Temple Recommend Renewal Interviews on a first come first serve basis during the following dates and times:
