Makakilo Stake Vision
“That we may be one” (D&C 35:2)
“Individuals and families of the Makakilo Stake to be united as one in faith, one in purpose, one in heart, and ultimately, one in Jesus Christ to invite all of God’s children, on both sides of the veil, to come unto the Savior, make and keep sacred covenants, have enduring joy, and qualify for eternal life,”

Stake Presidency Message
Aloha Brothers and Sisters,
We hope this message finds you well and filled with the light of Christ as we welcome the month of June.
Thank you to all who participated in our recent Stake Conference! It was a spiritually rich experience, and we’re grateful for the love and unity felt throughout the weekend. The Spirit was strong, and the messages shared were filled with personal testimony, hope, and direction. For those who would like to revisit the inspired messages shared, the Stake Conference talks have been published in the May Newsletter and are also available on the Makakilo Stake Website. We encourage you to take time to study and reflect on them.
June Theme: The Book of Mormon — Another Testament of Jesus Christ
This month, we invite each of you to turn your hearts to The Book of Mormon. This sacred scripture stands as a second witness of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and provides light, clarity, and peace in an increasingly noisy world.
“A man [or woman] will get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.” – Joseph Smith
Why the Book of Mormon Matters:
It centers us on Jesus Christ
It offers answers and direction
It strengthens faith and families
It invites personal revelation
Whether you’ve read it many times or are just beginning, daily study—no matter how small—invites the Spirit into your life. Even 5 minutes a day makes a difference!
The Book of Mormon is the word of God. Each time we open its pages, we can feel closer to our Savior. It teaches us how to live, how to love, and how to return to ourHeavenly Father. We invite each of you to study it prayerfully this month and let its truths sink deep into your heart. As you do, we promise you will feel God’s love more clearly in your life,
