Aloha Brothers and Sisters,

As we close the month of September, we express our sincere love and gratitude for each of you. Thank you to all who participated in our stake and ward activities throughout the month, and especially to the many leaders and members who quietly served behind the scenes. Your faith, devotion, and willingness to serve continue to strengthen our stake and move forward the work of salvation and exaltation.

September’s theme, “Strengthening and Sharing Our Testimonies,” reminded us of the importance of building our lives upon the sure foundation of Jesus Christ. We hope that throughout the month you found opportunities not only to strengthen your own testimony, but also to share what you know and believe with your families, friends, and those you minister to.

Looking Forward to October and General Conference

As we enter October, we have the sacred opportunity to participate in General Conference. What a blessing it is to hear the words of living prophets, apostles, and other Church leaders who have prayerfully prepared messages for us.

We encourage you to approach General Conference with more than a desire to simply listen. Come with questions. Come with concerns. Come thinking about your family, your calling, your testimony, and the challenges you may be facing. Most importantly, come prepared to listen for the quiet promptings of the Holy Ghost.

The messages we hear may be given to the entire Church, but through the Holy Ghost, the Lord can make them deeply personal.. We invite you to write those impressions down and act upon them. These moments are opportunities for the Lord to teach us what we need to hear.

Conference Does Not End on Sunday

We also encourage you to return to the messages throughout the coming weeks and months. Read them. Listen to them again. Study them as individuals and families. Look for principles that can help with the challenges, trials, decisions, and problems you may be facing.

Our challenges can become opportunities to turn more completely toward Jesus Christ. General Conference provides inspired guidance that can help us see those challenges through the perspective of the gospel and move forward with greater faith, hope, and confidence in the Savior.

Our Invitation

This General Conference, we invite you to listen prayerfully for a message the Lord has specifically for you. When you feel a prompting or receive an impression, write it down, return to the message that inspired it, and prayerfully choose one action you will take to follow what the Lord has placed in your heart.

As you sincerely seek and act upon personal revelation, we promise that you will recognize the Lord’s hand more clearly in your life. You will receive greater spiritual strength to face your challenges, increased peace in times of uncertainty, and greater confidence that Heavenly Father knows you, loves you, and will guide you through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Brothers and Sisters, we love you. Thank you for your continued faithfulness and for all you do to strengthen your families, wards, communities, and our stake. May this General Conference be an opportunity for each of us to draw closer to the Savior, hear His voice, and more fully follow Him.

• Wednesday, October 7 2026 | 6:00pm - 7:00pm “Dedicate” Special Viewing (All Chapels)

  • The Church is releasing a six-part video series titled “Dedicate” (video preview here).

  • The series follows seven young adults from seven different countries who travel to Salt Lake City, Utah, to tour the extensive, multi-year renovations of the historic Salt Lake Temple. Throughout the episodes, these young adults—who represent diverse backgrounds and unique faith journeys (including recent converts)—explore the renovated holy structure, meet with Church leaders, and ask honest questions. The core purpose of the series is to highlight the rising generation's faith as they share personal testimonies of Jesus Christ, the sacred purpose of temples, and the meaning of making covenants. 

  • On Wednesday, October 7 members, families, youth, and friends are invited to gather at your ward or branch chapel for a special viewing of the first episode of “Dedicate.” This experience will invite us to reflect on what the temple means to us and consider how we can deepen our dedication to ministering one by one and helping others worship in the house of the Lord. Members are encouraged to invite family and friends, including those not of our faith, to join us for this special evening - Please contact a member of your bishopric for additional details

• The Stake Presidency will be doing Temple Recommend Renewal Interviews on a first come first serve basis during the following dates and times:

  • Sunday, October 25th, 5:00pm - 6:00pm
