Aloha Brothers and Sisters,
What a beautiful and busy month June has been for our youth and their families! We witnessed the joy and achievement of our Seminary graduates as they were honored for their faith and diligence. We saw smiling faces and bright testimonies at our Stake Primary Activity, where our youngest members felt the love of the Savior. And of course, our Stake Youth Conference was a powerful spiritual highlight—filled with laughter, learning, service, and heartfelt testimony.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to all of you—parents, leaders, teachers, and individuals who poured in your time, talents, and love to make each of these events meaningful and memorable. Your efforts are helping our rising generation build strong testimonies and connections to Christ.
July Theme: “The Temple and Your Spiritual Foundation”
This month, we lovingly invite everyone—youth, families, and leaders alike—to center their hearts on the Savior, Jesus Christ, and reflect on how the temple can strengthen our spiritual foundation. The temple is more than a beautiful building; it is the House of the Lord, a place where we draw closer to heaven, receive sacred covenants, and feel the deep, personal love of our Heavenly Father.
In a world full of noise and distraction, the temple offers peace, clarity, and purpose. As we focus on Christ and the power of His holy house, our lives become more anchored, and our testimonies grow deeper and more secure.
We encourage you to:
Study Helaman 5:12 – “...when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds... it shall have no power... because of the rock upon which ye are built...”
Read or listen to President Russell M. Nelson’s talk: "The Temple and Your Spiritual Foundation" (General Conference, October 2021) “If you don’t yet love to attend the temple, go more often—not less.” – President Russell M. Nelson
Just like temples are sacred places that offer peace and power, we can create that same feeling in our homes and in our hearts. When we choose to be spiritually centered—especially in Christ—we become stronger, steadier, and more secure no matter what storms come.
We invite each of you to:
Set a personal or family goal to attend the temple
Discuss Helaman 5:12 as a family or in your classes
Share what helps you stay spiritually grounded with a friend or loved one
If you have a story or testimony about how the temple or has blessed your life, we’d love to share it in a future message! Just reply to this email or contact a member of the Stake Presidency.
We testify that the temple truly is the House of the Lord and a source of strength, healing, and peace. When we anchor ourselves to Jesus Christ and prioritize sacred temple covenants, we build an unshakable spiritual foundation.
